DAY 15: The games we play can tell a lot about who we are. I don't remember where I got the idea to do a MassQ on Pacman. I just remember that once the idea was planted, it spread like crabgrass through my brain and I started to see all the connections and parallels. I grew up playing videogames. From Arcades to Atari to Xbox and beyond, I have been there for the meteoric rise of the videogame industry. Today, as the technology, budgets, and earnings of videogames continue to grow, rivaling (and in some cases even surpass) feature films, their (videogames) ability to shape our collective moral, cultural, and ideological consciousness grows as well. Whether culture creates the videogame or the videogame create the culture is not as important as what both can tell us about us. So here's what Pacman tells me.
